Raven Brother Appears

Wee Good Faeries

I have always believed in fairies. My mother told me of how they had parties on the mushrooms at night. She would point at the mushrooms in the grass and say, "See? That is where they sit!"
I always had an awareness of the faerie's presence mostly in the forests. I have enjoyed listening to Nora Harold channel the faerie Cassandra. I began talking to the faeries not knowing exactly where to direct my voice. I sort of spoke to them in the ether or air and began receiving cute little rhymes and giggles thereafter.

I saw that Doreen Virtue had a Certified Fairiolologist Course and I hummed and hawed about that until a faerie floated upright past my kitchen window with butterfly wings. It made my skin tingle and my hair on my arms stand straight up. It was one of my favorite butterfly wings that of the mourning cloak. What was strange was that it sailed or floated by the window vertically without flapping it's wings. It was all the confirmation I needed. I signed up within 5 minutes to formally learn about the faeries.

Since I began my formal study of elementals and fairies with Doreen Virtue, I have had animals and birdsand some unique insects come live close by. The deer came, the squirrels showed up, and lots of wild birds flock to our home daily. I even befriended a mouse or two. More on that in another post.

Juvenile Raven sits near the nest while Father and Brother Raven
continue their day long hunting for the new siblings and Mother Raven.

I now am very blessed to have a Raven Family who comes every year to nest. I can watch them from my kitchen window and the yards easily, In the picture above you are looking at a juvenile, I call Brother Raven. He is around 8 months old. I remember when he was hatched. He perches in the old cottonwood tree near the nest where Mother, Father, and 2 year old Brother Raven are tending to the young. I see his little body and big curved beak silhouetted by the setting sun. Behold ! This is a new discovery for me! Up until two days ago I had no idea there were siblings helping out and such a wee one still hanging out on a branch. This is exciting news ! Hi Ho !
