The Story of the Corn Angel

Fairies are the helpers of the world. They give me and you thoughts and ideas that really help guide us if we but listen.
Fairies are also referred to as nature angels as they linger and thrive upon every leaf and flower, every partical of sand and sea and even the sky has lovely elementals to commune with. It is easy to ask the fairies for help and usually a yearning or desire will begin their help. But if you can remember just ask, the help is there.
The Story of the Corn Angel...
Day before yesterday I set out to make a corn shock also called a corn stack or corn teepee. It is made from the cornstalks which dry in the corn fields after the harvest.
I cut the stalks down, dug a hole in the garden and inserted a tall post, to support the stalks, and filled in the hole with soil. Many strong wind spirits and snow flowers visit us in during winter so this was quite necessary.
I finished the corn shock but I had this feeling that more was to be added, but what? I went into the house and searched for ideas. I was on Pinterest, Google images, I was not inspired by any of the ideas.
I got up and lifted the corner of my red calico curtain to gaze at the garden, where the corn shock stood. Suddenly "out of the blue" I got the idea to make an angel. The dear fairies were helping me. "Thank you dear ones!" I said with such gratitude, my eyes teared up. I felt quite emotional. I felt this feeling of release in my heart. I felt humble and thankful.
Just a note from the faeries:
It is funny how one tries and tries and nothing to speak of comes to mind but when we let go and relax the messages come through quite nicely...
Sometimes, when I write, I do so while imagining an Irish accent. I do not do this on purpose, it just happens. I feel influenced by the Leprechauns. "Oh no!" some would shutter. This is when you are in Ireland. Indeed not, as time and space are an illusion.
...Suddenly my mind was swimming with ideas and the brain storm was wonderfully fruitful. At first the details were vague.
What materials shall I use ? Cardboard, paper mache', wood, perhaps wire? And what about waterproofing it all?
I noticed this affirmation,
"Go easy" " Keep it easy" kept playing in the background of my mind. A message from the faeries !
I looked again out the window and saw that the beautiful dried cornflowers on the stalks looked like feathers ! Ah ha ! I will make the wings with the cornflowers.
I floated out to the garden and began creating the wings and while fitting the wings I noticed the top of the cornshock already looked like a primitive sort of head. Excitement surged through me. I already had the wings and the head right in front of me, right on top of the cornstalks ! In an hour I was done gathering, cutting, and tying all the parts together.

Another note:
Things you seek can be right there but we do not see because we are so busy looking and wondering about other things.Tch*
All the while I had my Pandora Radio with me outdoors. Out of my phone came a beautiful harmonious and spirit filled Gregorian chant. It made the whole scene feel like an outdoor church. The music wafted through the air all around me and the corn angel as I put her together. A few other songs came on and they all fed my spirit. My inner child was having such fun!
There were a few corn ears left on the stalks so I laid them out for the creatures to feast on. The faeries do encourage this.
I fastened the wings on the back and voila! the Corn Angel was born. I felt like getting on my knees and praying, giving thanks to all the good things that came to me. The materials, the guidance, and the reverence for faeries and the earth had come together so intuitively. The vibrations I felt were so good and uplifting. I felt as though I could levitate. So I stood in front of the Corn Angel and closed my eyes and gave thanks.
Here she is.

Until Next time,
A message given to me by the faeries.
"Open your heart to us. You have all put our vibration into catagories. Without all the separate names, labels and catagories, We are all ONE.
WE are One with YOU."
