The Winter Solstice Moon rose above the horizon last night. She is so lovely leading this special time of year into the Light and so bright !
Sometimes we do not know what calls us to discover such wonderful things. I had forgotten all about the Winter Solstice Moon.
I was very warm and getting warmer by the minute so I followed the impulse to step outdoors and cool myself off even though it was below freezing. As I stepped onto the porch my eyes caught this beautiful moon glowing in the night sky. "The Winter Solstice Moon!" I exclaimed. I completely forgot the heat I had been feeling and gave no mind to the freezing cold outside. I got my camera and shot some very beautiful photos. And that is how I discovered her last night. By following a simple but fruitful impulse. What a glorious experience.
